Tailored for policymakers, urban planners, civil servants and civic advocates, this interactive session zeroes in on how "Spaces for Encounter" significantly influence the effectiveness and inclusivity of Participatory Budgeting initiatives. Participants will collaboratively explore strategies to enhance the Democratic Society’s impact model, focusing on creating and utilising physical spaces that directly bolster digital engagement and civic participation. This workshop is crucial for understanding and leveraging the physical dimension of democracy to enrich participatory budgeting processes.
